The 2023 Japanese Grand Prix, officially known as the Formula 1 Lenovo Japanese Grand Prix 2023, took place on September 24th, 2023.
Red Bull's Max Verstappen emerged victorious after a commanding drive, securing his second consecutive Japanese Grand Prix win. His teammate, Sergio Perez, finished second, giving Red Bull a 1-2 finish.
Mercedes' George Russell finished third, ahead of Alpine's Esteban Ocon and McLaren's Lando Norris. Ferrari's Carlos Sainz finished sixth, followed by Red Bull's Alex Albon.
Aston Martin's Fernando Alonso finished eighth, with AlphaTauri's Pierre Gasly and Williams' Nicholas Latifi rounding out the top 10.
With Verstappen's victory, Red Bull secured the Constructors' Championship, their first since 2013. The team now has an unassailable lead in the standings, with Ferrari in distant second place.
